Here is a very unique card rise I just built, has the early turn of the century look to it:

Corrected spelling of Steampunk on heading of video on Y. Tube - it was too early for me!

Neat, I like the switches. the smoke/steam is great. Is there a way you could load it like a tv card frame on the fly so to speak. Having the card picked and returned and then bring out the machine and do what has to be done while bringing it out, so the card could be signed? might be neat to sub old tickets or some other image other than playing cards and pips.
I know there has to be several ways to present steampunk, do you think there is a way to have more of a magic presentation than the science is making it work perception? Guess it wouldn't matter if your character is a mad tinkerer gizmo thingamagig guy and not a magician. |

Great idea Cardstuntman, yes I believe it would be very possible to load the selected/signed card into the slot when bringing the machine out from behind your table - I will keep this in mind. Since the video I have added a removable oldtime pressure valve that goes on this side of the contraption, it looks cool and gives if the old mad professor look to it.
I love moving gears and odd contraptions - in the future I will be coming up with other experiments, will post them when completed. Chuck |

Very nice again Chuck, Again I must ask, I have been trying to get a wisp of smoke produced for something and I bought a G gause model railroad smoke stack but it doesn't weft the smoke out and upward without a bit of a breeze. Do you mind sharing?
