Hey everyone,
I bought a used wiz cote and found that the circuit board is having an issue. Lights and sound don't work. Do you know if there is a resource for getting a replacement board? Or, do you know anyone who repairs these? |

Why not ask George from Chalet.

I'd love to contact him. However, I find nothing in Google for him or Chalet magic. Does someone have his contact information? Thanks.

Smokey Mountain Magic (SMMagic.com) has their version of the Wiz Cote called S.N.A.F.U. They may be able to help you repair or refurbish your Wiz Cote. Might not hurt to at least ask.

I believe it is magicbuilder@aol.com at least that is what it was some time ago. I have not spoken to George in about 10 months.
hope that helps. and no my wizkote never had a problem like that but should be an easy fix it is not a huge technology piece.

Hey everyone,
I know this post is old but I just ran across it. I have been producing the printed circuit boards for Chalet Magic's Wiz-Kote since 2004. If anyone still needs a board they are available. If George is still building the Wiz-Kote I would prefer you get them through him. George and I have been friends for many years and I respect him very much. His site is currently down but you may be able to contact him at magicbuilder@aol.com If you don't have any luck contacting George, you can email me at mike@premiermagic.com |

It was back in the early 90's when I first created the Burnt Shoe trick box....my thought was it was like the burnt $100 bill trick but for kids.
When George (Chalet Magic) saw me perform the trick at a magic convention, he asked for the right to make it. We came an agreement and he made them for many years calling it Wiz Kote. Later George decided to retire. Since then I have had a few other manufacturers to build the box. AND we change the source of the smoke to canister that held a smoke like substance. It works great...no live fire but it does set off the smoke detector when released into the box. I have now commissioned Charlie Myrick to build and sell the box. And he even lowered the price. https://ozarkmagicmanufacturing.com/shop......illusion
