OK, I am not sure if this is a no brainer since I am not a Card Man, or am I too familiar with the No Force Epic Board.
But on Richard Osterlind's DVD, "Live... Without a net" he does a spectacular Force that I have never seen before. He shows a deck of cards (so it’s not a force deck) and he hands a spectator the deck of cards and walks away across the stage. He then has the spectator cut the cards as many times as he wants and asks him not to look at the top card, but asks him to place it right into his pants pocket. He then does his Epic Board routine, and unbelievable to me he reveals under the last flap on the board that he has guessed correctly what the selected card was in the spectators pocket. Here’s the question, is this a real Card Force? If so, what is it called? Or is this how the “No Force Epic Board” can work? (Is the trick in the cards, or the board). Thanks to any that answer... |

This may help, this was the Performance I was talking about...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpQD1_798qE Now that I watch it, maybe it is a Force Deck, but would you risk handing it out? |

It is a normal deck and a free selection.

There's no force. Honest! (And it looks so fair, doesn't it?)
And the deck can be given out as a souvenir at the end, with no fear of having the audience detect anything. Richard sells the Classic Epic for $250.00. It's a great prop, and a great routine. You can customize this one so that it fits you. Richard has been performing this for years, and it gets a strong reaction. If this is the sort of effect that you want to perform in your show, it's worth every penny.

Looks like a great effect where if you put in the work to do it right, it could be a reputation maker.

The original poster is now inquiring what stack they should learn. That would seem to negate the editing of my previous post?
