I just picked up Joshua Jay's Side Show. Very cool premise, a packet trick that uses cards that aren't cards. Well written manuscript with great illustrations. It uses standard moves and has a logical and well thought out finalé. Can't wait to start showing it, but it like all effects it deserves adequate rehearsal and practice.

Ok... this trick is awful. People are so confused in the end, because this idea does not make sense. They are not confused in the good way. People mostly don't understand what you are talking about. I will NEVER perform it at a gig, and hope that you will not either.
