Very good news. Can't wait to see this release. Your previous works were great. I use your prodigal on daily basis and it's very strong material.
Best, Luccky |

Thanks Psychomind, Luccky, Luca, Derek, Brett, Matt, Jamie, Chris, Steve, and Kieran for your interest and for taking the time to say such undeservedly kind things about my work. It is nice to hear, but - in my mind - all of my previous releases pale in comparison to Train Tracking. It is something I use consistently and that is part of why this release will be limited.
I will say that I had the pleasure of performing Train Tracking for Mark Elsdon at Blackpool. He subsequently asked me to perform it for a friend of his, and when I told that gentleman what word he was thinking of, Mark laughed and said "It's like he's walking around inside your head." It is a very strong piece, propless and impromptu, and is extremely versatile in performance. At the moment, I'm not sure how many copies I'll limit this to, or the price. I'm more concerned about making sure everything is clear and concise and that everything that needs to be relayed makes it into the book. Best, Atlas |

Make it expensive and then decide also to whom you sell it. We have too many lurkers anyway. Jan

Ring my bell and call me Pavlov. I'm actually salivation at the prospect.
I think the price should be very high. For everyone except me. Notice- no smiley face. I am just that selfish.

Rumour has it that Atlas will be previewing his "Train Tracking" system at the "Meeting of the Minds" in Newcastle. This is a one day multi lecture event that is being organised my myself alongside some great performers not wishing to "de-rail" the thread/"train" of thought (see what I did), feel free to pm me for more information
Best Wishes Michael

I was very lucky to see a very early version of train tracking around a year ago. I'm dying to see how far this has developed because this is something that Atlas has been passionate about as long as I've known him and even in that early incarnation I could see why. Shooting myself in the foot again but this should be expensive and limited.

Thanks Mark, that's nice of you to say! I've only shared early iterations of this effect - despite the fact that I've been working with the principle for six years - so I expect that you'd be floored to see how all the components fit together and where this has eventually taken me. I actually just told someone over the phone that they were thinking of the word 'sausage' and they hung up on me.
And Michael, your use of puns was a heinous crime against good sense and healthy living. Best, Atlas |

Just had a call from Atlas, he asked me to think of any word in the English language and nothing was written down and after going through his completely innocent and beautifully scripted train tracking process he told me that the word I was merely thinking of was direct. He was of course correct. He was also able to tell me all of the words that I had thought of during the train tracking process.
I would call it a thing of beauty but it put things of beauty into the shade. If train tracking were a woman you would bang her every which way because she is beyond sexy. Whatever Atlas charges for this it will be too cheap. This is a billetless divination of absolutely anything, a word, a name, a place, anything. If this sounds like hype, it isn't, I'm actually trying to play down my enthusiasm. If any technique/principle ever gave me a boner this is the one. My mind is going to be reeling with the possibilities. This is one limited release I really cannot afford to miss. Fortunately my kids have six kidneys between them, I'm sure I will be able to find a buyer for 1. Right I'm off to fill the bath with ice cubes while I work out which kid is responsible for most of my grey hairs. Mark |

The possibilities of this are endless. You want to know the name of someone's first kiss ... Train track it, where somebody is going on holiday ... Train track it ..... A star sign? ..... Train track it. The price of a pound of bacon ... Train track it ... Ok you can't do that last one but you could train track that they had bacon in their sandwich. First letter for Moab .. Train track it, in fact forget the first letter, borrow a book, tell them to pick any word, any length, any page then train track that bugger right out of their head.
Actually wait a minute, I don't want you buggers train tracking, forget all that, it's decidedly average, you wouldn't like it, I may just take a kidney from each kid and buy them all and burn them to protect you all from such an undesirable little thing .... You will thank me for it ..... Honest. Now move along, nothing to see here. Mark |

And yes, in retrospect, the last two sentences of my previous post are really, incredibly open to horrific abuse.

Lol at the veto. This sounds wonderful and well worth paying a premium for.
Limited is cool, and I fully respect a creators right to release their babies into the world as they see fit, I'm just pretty chill and don't like to make purchases in a rush. If quanity available is enough as to where I don't have to hover over a mouse at a pre-determined time, I'm still in. =) |
