Just got a Humane Restraints jacket. Love it but it's really stiff and I think it'll loosen up with a wash. I know use will get it broken in but it's pretty brutal right now and I want to take the edge off. It says it can be laundred but the internets say duck cotton can shrink. Has anyone washed a Humane Restraints jacket? I got a small and can't afford it to shrink. Anyone have hints or tips?

I had one years ago and washed it once.
The only problem was that the sleeves would fill with water, unbalancing the 'washload.' I had to stop the washer and dump the water out of the sleeves periodically during the wash cycle.

Washing it won't shrink it. Drying it will shrink it.
Use a cold water wash setting and then hang it up outside to dry. |
