I too would like to know just how deceptive the "work" is?

Its pretty deceptive and clever. I like it a lot, though its an old principle and not a new concept, so I'm not exactly sure what Bob added here aside from the routines taught (which are pretty straight forward).

Any marked deck can do these things and so can the old stripper deck.
So I don't see what advantage Vibe has compared to these other ideas. Can someone list advantages? |

You can do all the routines blindfolded

With Vibe you never have to look at the deck or any of the cards. As stated it could be done blindfolded. So unless you have see thru vision you can't do the same effect with a marked deck that you can do with Vibe.

Like I said before , you can do the " vibe" routines blindfolded or not then go into "regular deck" mode, there's also zero reset. And you can prepare any deck to use vibe so for you " torn and restored" folks or "card warpers" out there this won't hurt your pocket when you tear a card... Plus it's so easy to do!

I've used a p*****d deck for these types of effects in the past, but was always concerned that the work was perceptible by the spectators. For anyone in the know, is this an improvement? Is the work less perceptible?
