The method does indeed use the Biddle move, Kabbalah. And the process of the trick is similar to a card revelation/reversal in one of Frank Garcia's books (except that he doesnb't make two piles of 4 cards). But I'm trying to identify this particular presentation as described above..

I like the mention of Phil Goldstein's Jumping Bean Aces, that's a great trick.

My ten card effects:
1. Spectator Cuts to the Aces--my all time favorite. I love collecting and studying the various methods. 2. Dave's Delight--my favorite version of Charlie Miller's "Dunbury Delusion." 3. Rising Cards--an absolutely fascinating effect. 4. Think a Card--Tom Baxter has great work on this. 5. Psychological Stop Trick--from Expert Card Technique. Vernon performed this in the 1930s in Manhattan nightclubs. 6. Chicago Opener 7. Triumph--in the hands. My favorite is Larry Jennings' "Outstanding Triumph." 8. Time Machine 9. Two Card Transposition--Jim Swain's "Icebreaker" is my favorite version of this plot. 10. Dr. Daly's Last Trick No room left for Vernon's Twisting the Aces and its variants, Devilish Miracle, Torn and Restored Card, Roger Klause's Bantam Weight Card, and Color Changing Deck. |

My top ten (more or less impromptu):
1) Tipsy Trick (Royal Road to Card Magic) 2) Biddle Trick (variation of Elmer Biddle Trick) or Bizarre Vanish (Paul Harris) 3) Rise/Swap (Giobbi) - sometimes alternate this with Card under Glass or Card in Hand 4) That's It (Eddie Fechter) - also love Fechter's simply brilliant "Hold Your Finger on the Card"... 5) Dr Daley's Last Trick 6) Shuffling Lesson (Chad Long) 7) Gemini Twins (Fulves) 8) Devastation (Geoff Williams) 9) Do As I Do (various including 1 pack version) 10) OOTW (Lorraine) |
