I have a version of the bowling ball briefcase but I wanted to see if there is a planes for the one where you can show both sides. I hate to do the trick and only show one side it just feels like your cheating the spectators. any help would be great

I doubt this will be what you want to hear... To me, this sounds like running without being chased. Those that can be shown on both sides are done that way after the production. Attempting to validate the legitimacy of what was just done is anticlimactic to the extreme. This video is a great example of how not to do the trick...

I don't like one item tricks because they feel more like tricks less like magic so I want to work it all in.

Howard Flint, the originator of this effect, made version of this years ago after so many people had ripped off his original version. Yes, he did it just to mess with the magicians. He did it at Abbott's one year and fooled the hell out of the guys.

As stated many times on the Café and in this section, there is never plans available for what is called "illusionettes". Only a few are published by Paul Osborne, and some in biography books by well known magician such as Jack Hughes, Bev Taylor, etc. Of course non of these people had anything to do with the trick you are inquiring about. Good luck with that idea, we need creative inventors in magic. Let us know your solution. |
