I am looking for a quality bang gun...De Yip Loo or something of similar style. I remember seein a bang gun years ago where the banner came straight out...if you have anything like this let me know.

Those pop-out guns were usually rifles made in the 40s.
The shaft would extend then the banner unrolled.

The only time I seen a rod comes out on a pistol was in a cartoon. I always thought that may be the way the worked until I actually seen the joke/novelty model years later.

My father had a rifle that sprung the piston and banner. He gave it away. It was a WWII bolt action rifle. When you pulled the trigger a long rod underneath the barrel pulled the hook catch back, on cam action, and the rop came out.
Similar to a sausage gun.
