Tommy James has done it again.
I like pack small play big tricks especially when they are colorful. Please look at (Kids Cards Across). The kids will have a ball with this --(laughs Galore). I will add my big rubber ears and funny eye glass to the routine and a ton of fun. I will be ordering mine soon. Tricky Ricky |

Just did this in 3shows yesterday. I got it the day before and since I had practised the "move" while waiting for it, it was good to go. This played so well. Group size was 80 ish and it easily played to it. Got a couple unexpected applause points. When they count the7apples to be 4 that brought one round of applause. When the first red back showed in the yellow set some applauded and others were verbally "whaaa?". Very pleased with this effect.

YAH, I didn't think you would but another member did so I thought I would clarify. It's not the first time I've been misunderstood... "RIGHT HONEY?!" (he calls to wife in other room)
I laughed when I heard you going through the banana cards. I think it's a great idea to just say what they are and then count them. Apples first then Bananas. well done |

Hey there MoonRazor.
I just thought you didn't like the trick and I was all ready to point out the good things you can do with it. Have fun with it --I certainly will. Tricky Ricky |

Performed this a handful more times and love it more. This is strong magic. I've seen lots of adults shaking their head amazed at this "kids trick". It is knocking then for a loop as well as the kids.

Well made quality effect. This is a great version to get children involved in this type of effect, without dealing with them trying to know the different suits in a deck of cards. Super easy, and a delight to perform, and great reactions every time.

I've only used this a few times since adding it to the show (depending on the venue). I did it today and the kid who counted the Bananas, after the cards flew across, literally fell to the floor laughing and giggling. This effect is an outright killer. If you're doing it for a large group of kids, you better have more than one ambulance standing by. It kills, I'm tellin' ya. Best kid's routine in a long, long time. Kudos Tommy!

I was curious as to how it would play. It went well. I figure is Mack King can do it on a large stage, I can too! LOL (My stage wasn't as big as his )

I used Tommy's Cards Across last week and this week at a school show for 5th graders and 6th graders. What a huge hit! What makes this so good is I had to perform 4 consecutive shows, back to back, with only a few minutes in between the shows. Cards Across was perfect! Reset time is literally seconds!
Now, the magic that happens in the routine is awesome. But, in order for this to be a HUGE success, I suggest really hamming up the part when each apple travels across. And add some extras, for example; have a sponge apple and banana hidden on you and after each kid decides which fruit they will represent, proceed to pull the their chosen fruit from their ear etc..... This routine has so much potential on all aspects!! RNK
