I tried it the other night for the first time and it went down really well! I had a crowd of about 10 people around watching and got lots of no ways exclaimed around me. It's one of those effects that the way you build it up really will determine how strong the reaction you will get. I probably went a bit too fast and could have built it up even more but I think it's a keeper!

I love this effect!!! The routining is just genius. This will probably replace my current go-to triumph!

Is this still available? Or does anyone know how to get on his mailing list?

My thoughts are the "technical" aspects are pretty underwhelming taken alone. Some good psychological subtleties as well as some good subtleties around handling. If you're looking for revolutionary techniques, this isn't it. In totality, I would probably rate it 6.5 or 7 / 10 though based on the presentation and subtleties.

Personally, I judge a routine by effectiveness to an audience. While "technical" aspects may sound underwhelming, they are tried and tested in front of audiences and many top performers still use them. I used to do a version that shares few "technical" aspects with Psychologica but as a performance piece, I feel Psychologica is on a different level. However it is only when looked at as a whole (with the psychology and script) and not as moves alone.
With that said, it is a hard effect to perform not because of moves but as Sean said, because it will depend on how you build it up. It is only through repeat performances that one will nail down the exact script and timing to get maximum impact. And the discussion on psychology at the beginning of the manuscript is really cool. |

Sounds very interesting. What do you get with your order, and how much it is?
