Couple of years ago I made flying carpet levitation/suspension illusion. It was big enough to levitate a child, but it was little bulky. This year I made second one, which is smaller (but better - I think).

The support on the gimmick side slides back, or just moved back?

I just move it back. There's no slide or any mechanism. If that was your question?

Did you use tube steel or square?

Rentagle underneath and rest is square.
