I work for my bread,
.. and caviar,
by playing the Streets,
mostly with a piano.
A few years ago,
I slipped Mb's "Crimp Change",
into the Act.
(all I can say about it is:
"It's included in EVERY Show.")

While learning the effect,
Mb helped and motivated and kept me at it.
,...then continued asking,..
"How's it going?"
,....determined(!).

My Lady and I, continue writing him,
about our journeys,..
and he surprises us constantly,
with HIS 'journeys',..
and inspirations.
(I still swear,..
"the ten bucks I gave to Vinny,
for Marion's work,
is the best money I ever spent!)

Anyways, a couple of months ago,
this little feather,
came floating down from the heavens.
As a Street Performer,
hanging out in Café's between Shows,
...sitting out the rain, in Train Stations,...
it's great!
{even though, I can only do the half of it!}
(I especially like the concept,
of using a Change purse,..
to 'change' something! 😉

Mb shared his Crimp Change with me years ago in the hopes of getting me back into coin magic after a major decrease in hand mobility from arthritis and palsy.
I could not execute this properly, but other handlings developed -- the inspiration and encouragement more important than the sleight.

His wink is a reminder that good magic leaves a blush of joy and affect on the spirit. We can all be more than ...

It's been a while, but I gotta tell'ya...This remains one of the best things I've ever done IMHO. It's about as close as I might ever get to the type of things French magician, David Stone does. Admittedly, I'm still a long way off from that kind of expertise, but I certainly was inspired by it, and so many others along the way. I like this because it brings together for a brief period, all the fine magic I saw growing up in NYC, and the way I remember it from all the many magicians there big, small and all of them. This piece will always be a tribute to them and what their wonderful magic taught me...It's filled with a lot of things that I've learned, and I'm so happy that I took the time to learn it to be able to do and share this with others for them and forever...

It never gets old. Quick, logical, magical and entertaining .
