I heard from an online magic vendor that they are expecting shipment of The Books of Wonder Vol 1 & 2 at the end of October. I hadn't heard anything about a reprint. Anyone have any information about this?

The fact is since Hermetic Press under Penguin Magic now their web site is offline and no update info about reprint or any new book coming soon any more...

The vendor is still saying Nov 9th. I'm not going to post the link in case they are not an advertiser. Message me for info if you want the link.

Is this definitely happening? If anyone has any information it'd be much appreciated.

I just checked with Penguin about this, and was told there's no expected date for a reprint. In fact, the person who responded said they didn't know that any plans were in the works to reprint the books.
It's still magic even if you know how it's done.

That's a shame. Thanks for the heads up, Doug.

Tommy Wonder lecture was the most " Magical" lecture I've ever seen. Totally committed to the effect, at all cost. If you can find the books, they are well worth the read, and will be a prized possession in your library!

I'd be willing to let mine go, if the price is right. One of the dust jackets has a very small stain.

PM me with a competitive offer.

Why? I think magicians being able to buy magic books is a good thing.

Is this a shop that takes orders for "back-ordered" out-of-print books?

Hank Lee used to do that. He'd take paid orders for books that would never be reprinted, and often (or often enough to be profitable) the customer forgot about the never-received goods.

Looks like the books are still out of print.
The link jerry100won shared shows me they are out of stock.

Is it true that Tommy's books will be back in print this year? I hope so. I can get my hands on volume 2 for 55,- Euro's still new. A price I am glad to pay but it would be a shame not being able to add volume 1 for myself and especially others. It would be great to see these available again for the public.

If anyone has any advice, please share.

Greetings from the Netherlands.
