Hi Everyone
I recently purchased a trunk of old magic props, books, catalogs and things of a retired magician locally in my area. One of the things he pointed out when I picked it all up was a page with some photos and signatures from different magicians including Harlan Tarbell. I also see Larry Weeks, Neil Foster and Kenneth Turner. So here's my question regarding these signatures: 1) Can anyone identify the other signatures? There are it looks like 3 others I just can't quite make out. 2) Being that these appear roughly all together (same paper, same pen), I'm assuming these would have been from a conference or convention of sorts. I see a date of 1958. Would anyone know maybe when/where these would have been signed? I always like digging into the history of magic and magicians, so mainly looking for some information on these small pieces of magic history. The scanned file is too large to attach to the post, so here is a link to it: http://www.zillusions.com/images/EPSON003.JPG |

You've got Russ Walsh and Al Flosso (well-known), and W.C. Weber, who I had not heard of until now, but I took a guess and Googled and he came up in that era. 1958 is a bit before my time, so perhaps someone else can figure out what convention. My guess would be New York area.

Did a bit more Google digging and found the 30th IBM Magic Convention was held in Buffalo, NY. My money's on that one.
