Does anyone know anything about this trick? http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/7611. Seems pretty convincing!!

Hasn't there already been a marketed version of this? I know the idea isn't new as I purchased one from a guy I met lecturing in Ohio, who had been making them for years. I'm not seeing any improvements

This is a very convincing high quality version of this type of gimmick. Allows for more freedom and reliability than other versions.

The trailer shows him writing with the Sharpie. Is that actually possible and if it is possible, how much of a pain is it to keep the ink from not drying up?

The gimmick does not wright. But he teaches you how to if you want to.

This looks like a very good quality version of the already good 'pen through bill' but with a super-strong magnet. It looks like it allows for a different, or should I stay 'more convincing' penetration and retraction of the pen from the bill.
The only thing I was curious about is can you store it with a lid on it, or do you just keep the lid on the 'butt' end of the pen. Would the cap get stuck on the small, gimmicked part of the pen? |

This version, like other pen through bill versions that lack a "rip gaff" (invented by Jim Krenz), doesn't look like a real penetration.

And the nature of the sharpie puts the split at the most obvious point...

Has anyone bought this? I'm curious if it's as well made as penguin claims.
I feel like having a well made sharpie version of the stealth pen would be much more practical for table hopping. |

I'd say that's a bit hyperbolic. Hell the trailer only shows it doing one thing.

I just ordered this from Penguin magic. It also came with the download. It looks really good. Well built. You can put the cap on both ends. You can not write with this but don't matter much to me. A simple switch and he teaches this and you have a killer effect.

They also teach you how to use the pen to write with.
I already do a sharpie switch so it would be nice to be able to write with this one (so I don't need to carry 3 with me). |

I love Pen-thru whatever, and I like the idea of it being a sharpie, so I may need to get this

Mine will be here tomorrow. I am curious if the cap helps protect the tip. I was always afraid of losing the tip with my previous versions.

It is easy to keep tabs on the side so you keep it away or under fingers. After penetration you can expose the "Chad" that makes it look like a flap ripped during the punch. I even use a "Chad" on my key through (Ignition) and it shows when I want it to, and it doesn't when I don't. 😉 I'm with other strollers who already use a sharpie! I'm getting it!
WHAT IF you wake up tomorrow with ONLY the things that you THANK GOD for today?
