There's now a Deluxe version of this effect for sale. Anybody know exactly which and how many cards includes?

From Penguin magic "multiple sets of gimmicks so you can perform with queens, kings, or jacks. Plus you'll get black cards as well as jokers in case you want to use "normal" cards only."

You probably get about 7-10 extra cards with it toward giving the basic effect a few other looks.
I've had B'wave for many decades and it is a wonderful trick, not difficult to do with no moves to make the magic happen. It's great mostly to me because it allows you to work on presenting the trick and engaging specs. It teaches you to take your time and truly enjoy the moments. It's a fun effect. They've dressed it up a bit in this "Deluxe" set, like getting a new suit for Easter.

Mentioned this over on the latest/greatest thread. 15 total. Mine came with 3 blue back blank facers, 3 red back blank facers, 3 blue back jokers. King red back, king blue back, 2 jacks red back, 2 queens red back.

All the cards are gaffed so yes, basically. The black king is the only one with a blue back so that's the only one you can use with the red-backed blank facers.
Out of interest, has anyone developed any routines which uses more of the gaffed cards than just one? I feel with the extra cards there's potential for more than just the basic B'wave routine... |

I'm surprised by this release. It is pretty clear that Max Maven consiers the original B'Wave to be the best it could be, so all of these "variations" are quite pointless. Take the Jokers for example: I don't think Max Maven himself would consider using jokers an improvement.

Hi, the packet has two kings one red one blue back, two jacks both red backs, two queens both red backs and 6 blank, three red and three blues.
I tossed the jokers inside the bin as per Max' instructions |

Interesting. So, Max is suggesting that the Jokers be discarded. That is the point of the Kings and Jacks?

Max's video instructions are GREAT and he says what he thinks. Like he turned a Great trick into a Good Trick. Something like that.
With the extra court cards you can do the "Princess Card Trick" if you know what that is.
