What D.V.D. teaches some good ideas ( Routines ) using ESP cards? This is for my son who now is 15 and getting into this. I have no idea what to look for. Thanks. Smile

Submodalities is good if you like Zenner stuff. There's one on there called Jazz Mentalism that I saw Derren do on a chat show years ago. It's an impromptu 'matching pairs' trick and is easy to do.

Remember, he is asking for a 15-year old who is just getting into this.

I've heard that 15-year-olds occasionally read books too. Smile

"Unfazed" should be within the technical reach of a mature 15 year old.

It's not a trick. It's a miracle. Smile

Unfazed and Jazz Mentalism are both excellent routines. I would heartily recommend tracking down Max Maven's work in lecture notes and his close-up video/download. One should certainly study Nick Trost's and Stephen Minch's work with Zener decks as well.

One that's not been mentioned yet: David Eldridge's "Fundamentalism."

Hi all - just a question about Jazz Mentalism. I see on MindFX (https://www.mindfx.co.uk/products/jazz-mentalism-by-david-humphrey) the page states:

"The handling I present in this ebook ... was also included within my "A Piece of My Mind" book and also includes the extra addition to the routine which was included in there too."

However my copy of "A Piece of My Mind" refers the reader to the Submodalities DVD for the original effect.
I seem to remember hearing there were two different versions of "A Piece of My Mind". Does anyone know if Jazz Mentalism appears in one of them?

Thanks in advance

If you manage to find a copy, ESP Origins by Ludovic Mignon and Marchand de Trucs is excellent.

It appears as a bonus in the limited edition version.

Some of you may find intriguing routines in my forthcoming work devoted to this genre, entitled "Not Just a River in Deutschland". It is compilation of routines which I am confident that you will enjoy.
