Michael is definitely a class act.
So much so that I named my son after him. Seriously, my son is named Michael! Even though I personally am not happy, I'm sure that many (most) of you will like this. We all have different performing personalities and styles. I am clearly in the minority here, and I won't apologize for it. If you like Rubick's magic, this could be a good one for you.

Really enjoying this - it's a natural companion piece to Steve Brundage's "Cube 3" release, but elevates a Rubik's routine into something a little more mysterious when it happens in someone's else's hands!

Could I use this as an additional phase to cube cards routine, at the end of that routine you shake the cube and solve it, could I then remix the cube and hand to spectator to solve it ala the solution?

I now know how I'm going to use this.
I think I'm going to have the audience genuinely mix a cube. Then I'm going to ask for an audience member who believes it would be impossible for them to solve the cube. I bring them onstage and say, "Since this puzzle is too difficult for you, I'm going to give you a little bit easier puzzle." I then introduce a simple puzzle that consists of 4 pieces. I take it apart and put it on the table. I tell the spectator we are going to race to see who can solve the puzzle first. Me with the Rubik's cube or them with the 4 piece puzzle. We both go and comedically, they can't solve the easy puzzle! I end up genuinely solving the cube before they solve the 4 piece puzzle. I playfully joke about how they must not be a puzzle person. I put the 4 piece puzzle together to prove they could have. I then mix the cube up again as I say that they couldn't solve the simple puzzle simply because I made them feel a little defeated when I pointed out their inability to solve the cube. I anchored that feeling with the simple puzzle. I then tell them I can do the same thing in reverse and it is just as powerful. I put the cube behind their back, they start turning it and I begin to ask them about what they are good at. I then begin to "anchor" this feeling of being good at something with the cube behind their back. When they take the cube out from behind their back after several minutes, it is solved. This is simply a combination of a routine Mark Elsdon released (the puzzle effect) with this Michael Murray release. I think this is a GREAT combination and shows two opposite ends of your abilities. (The power to take away a basic skill and the power to make a skill much improved) I've done Mark's routine by itself and it gets great reactions. Plus it allows me to genuinely solve a cube in real time. I think tagging this on at the end will be an unbeatable routine that will leave the audience in sheer amazement and looking forward to participating in other effects throughout the show. Also, Michael brushes over something at the very end of the solution PDF and I completely missed it the first time. Reading it again, it is great thinking. He suggests using the core of this routine to have a spectator mix a cube as much as they want. You then take it from them and solve it behind your own back. Personally, I don't think it's as powerful as the routine itself. But with some thought, someone could make for what very well could be the cleanest cube demonstration seen. Madison |

I bought this and I love it. This solution made me laugh with joy. I have been working on a multi-phased, simple cube routine. This is a great finale! It's hard not to be a Michael Murray fan. (Who would want to try?)

Morning everyone, where can we find this video that you speak of Michael when it's available?
Also, Memorable ending. Making the specatator the star is in my mind the only way to end this effect. Bravo Mr Michael, bravo🎉🎉

Brilliant Mikey M.
You are my friend, but if you released rubbish you know I would tell you. Fortunately you are consistently excellent. You are very creative but firmly grounded & you are the only one who fools me. Well done Michael. Mike Donoghue |
