Received mine from Alakazam yesterday and having watched the dvd and had a chance to use it I can honestly say it is really good
Dave Loosely covers the handling brilliantly and is very thorough in the explanations The real bonus is that the spectator has a completely free choice of the card from the top or bottom of the deck for both the back and face of the card and you can show that if he had chosen his other option it would have been a completely different outcome Excellent |

Hi Guys,
Thank you all for the great comments. We are shipping these out to Murphys tomorrow. I would expect dealers worldwide should have them next week. I hope this help Peter |

Got mine from Alakazam a couple of days ago. Dry handed, I had difficulty with the handling. Rubbed a little with a silk, and: Voila! Problem solved. Hope this helps some others. John

Or not. Still having difficulty. Think cards are over-treated, and on both cards. Loosely says only one needs treatment with the stick. Correct?

Just tried treated end in. Works much better for me. Hopefully that will continue tomorrow. David Jonathan says both cards are supposed to be treated.

Got this one today.
It works how I supposed it should have worked. Great deck quality, great reactions. Vote on this: 8/10 |

Anyway it's a great idea and concept and I think I know ways of treating the deck better if an issue arose 😉 Regards Tarik |

Hey guys, there appears to have been a delay in getting this over to Murphy's.
It is currently in stock at Alakazam, with free shipping worldwide, so that is an option if you prefer as we try to resolve the issue. |

This might be nice if used in conjunction with Casino Con by Steve Gore. Theme would be your fascination with playing cards and showing off your card "collection".
However, this is a tough effect to do in the places I typically perform, such as spur of the moment for friends, colleagues, etc. A lot of time and procedure involved to get to the payoff. Specs are going to need to be pretty sober as well to follow it all the way through. |

Videoman, that is a nice idea to use it with Casino Con, I certainly see the theme potentially carrying over.
I do hear you about specs needing to follow along. I'll admit that the demo is a bit long and slow to build up- that is just I how I prefer to frame and perform the effect. I realize that probably isn't the best trailer to lead with for the effect, but at least you get to see a full uncut performance, which I think magicians appreciate a lot more. With that said, you can certainly present this in half the time and cut right to the chase- show the deck on both sides, have them roll a pair of imaginary dice for the numbers, count down to both selections and reveal. |

Jonathan,
This looks like a really beautiful routine! I love the combination of cards and dice, and the whole thing is very entertaining. I don't think the routine is too long. In the real world, people will enjoy taking in the different cards and the patter. Also, in the real world, there is more interaction with participants that makes what you are calling a "long" patter very entertaining. Good job. I'm definitely in. KJ |

Just got it from Penguin. Beautiful cards and a very entertaining, solid routine.

I agree, KJ. One other thing to keep in mind is that, as magicians, we tend to take the rainbow deck for granted. Often when I do this for laypeople, they start reacting right when I display the cards because they have never seen any deck like this before, and think it's very cool, so they are instantly engaged and hooked.

I've been working this and it's a solid little piece of magic I love it.
It's great for families at my restaurant, get the children to roll the dice and add the numbers. Then floor the adults with the reveal. Makes it a very fun and engaging routine with the magical kicker. I want to repeat at gigs so have bought two sets. Easy to do, easy reset, packs small, different. WIN! |
