The original note under cup routine started well but then became rather messy. Sudo has cleared away the mess and created a delightfully elegant effect that will be a pleasure to perform. Excellent.

Hello Sudo!
Your inbox is full. I would be very glad and thankful to read your latest manuscript "Neti Neti". In fact, I would pay for it, if you just tell me the price. Every effect you put out is very well thought out, so I expect nothing less of this one. I have performed TERASABOS, but I would love to have another method for a good note-under-cup effect! Greetings, Alex |

I enjoyed Neti Neti and might even use it (semi) impromptu. I learned something about combining principles from this clever guy.
Looking forward to the release of the pendulum effect, Sudo.

I actually like this better than which hand routines. It plays bigger because multiple people can watch the action on the table and participate in a turn at switching the objects. I personally would use bottle caps with a small object so you can do it impromptu.
It is a great propless effect with no fishing and one instruction which goes flat under the radar. Doing it gives the feeling of real mentalism in the making. It is also a great ice breaker and lead in for other more personal effects which you would need to warm up to. You can also spice this up with little kickers like liar/truth or a prediction of how many times they moved the bottle cap, plus other ploys that can be worked in with a little imagination. Another winner, thank you Sudo for your creativity and giving nature. |

The very simplicity of the method is simply devastating. Great thinking here. Thanks for sharing, Sudo. Your giving nature is 'almost' unparalleled on here, I guess.
Sudo is one of the 3 'mentalism thinkers' I have started to highly regard and admire in recent months - the other 2 being Unknown Mentalist and Matt Mello - not in any particular order though. I believe these guys are bringing new takes and new directions to our art form - and minus the hype and rut of some of the other big names. March on, regardless, Sudo

Hi guys.
Glad to see everybody has been enjoying this. Unfortunately not only is my inbox is flooded, but so is my email! It seems that people who aren't even members and just lurk here have been emailing me like crazy. If you're a lurker, please do NOT email me personally asking for a free copy. I make these offers available to MEMBERS of the Café only and those I wish to privately gift on my own. Membership has it's benefits - or so the saying goes. Due to the volume of requests and the fact that I feel I have shared enough copies, Neti Neti is now available for sale at my site: http://curiousmiracles.com/product/neti-neti/ for anyone who'd like a copy. Next up: Pendultimate! |

This is super clever. A great combination of the original note under cup principle with another great principle we all know.
Reading this was a real kick myself "why didn't I think of that!" moment. I can absolutely see myself using this regularly. I've used the note under cup method in the past, but this makes it so much cleaner. I wouldn't want to repeat this effect for the same audience, but I can see it playing nicely when combined with a couple of other effects. I really like Sudo's suggested routine of combining this with his spectator divining the serial number effect. |

Sudo's thinking is many steps beyond ordinary. He can take an idea, improve it, and then communicate it clearly to the community. That's a rare gift. The work he put into this effect transforms it from interesting to WOW!
Thanks Sudo. Many, many thanks! |

Neti Neti is a great improvement on the existing effect. By applying very simple principles overlooked by every other magician Sudo Nimh has again transformed an existing trick into an impossible feat that can only be explained by giving the magician credit for super powers (that no one possesses).

Got it. Great thinking! It's the simple ideas that usually stand out the most... and this is something so simple in method that it can be devastating. Great idea for an impromptu performance, but easily can be used as a demonstration in a full show.
Fantastic! Greg

Just got this. If I remember right, this idea appears in at least one of the many cup tricks in Switchcraft and MB USA. But not the hummer tricks. One of the other's. Maybe "Marco's Cup Trick". Not exactly the same, but some crediting would be nice.
