You could also ask a local machine shop if they have a knurling tool which can produce similar tool marks. Might be faster than the custom coin guys who are generally Barrie's in work.

Hi runnerinlv, and welcome to the Café!
With regard to Mike's post, understand that all of the custom coin guys mentioned might require a relatively long wait time, depending on how busy they are. All of the three mentioned are one-man operations. And in Dan's post, I think that "Barrie's" should read "buried" - probably autocorrect at work there! Jim |

YES A KNURLING TOOL IS THE WAY TO DO IT. you have to have the right one to get the right size edges. but I have used it before. you are right danwseers
