Is there a source to learn this card effect? And where might I find it?

I love this Slydini routine - actually I love them all. The routine could well serve as a part of a course on misdirection. If you watch the Master perform it - there are videos on YouTube - you'll see that he TELLS the audience what he is going to do, but, I'm sure you know that. For me at least, Slydini and Ramsay are THE go to sources for lessons in misdirection/directed attention with a high honorable mention going to Tommy Wonder.

Slydini and I were – well – friends. We started as teacher-student but we became very close.
I learned how all of what Slydini did fit him perfectly BUT I also learned that if a student was to perform any of what Slydini did that student had to fit Slydini’s material to the students style and personality. I always use Slydinis Principles BUT any of his effects that I use I felt had to be adjusted to my style. The Helicopter Card is an example. I present this as a Perverse Magic effect as follows: Effect 1 A card is selected, signed and shuffled back into the pack. 2 The deck is given to a spectator to shuffle and then spread the deck on the table face down. I explain that I, as a great magician will find the selected signed card. 3 I confidentially turn over a card. Wrong. I try again. Wrong! I try to say something but have trouble speaking. A card appears in my mouth. I reach to take the card with a clearly empty hand and sure enough it is the selected marked card. I am very confused! Wonderful trick. The youtube clip of Slydini performing the Helicopter Card on the Cavett show is one of the reasons I got interested in magic in the first place. Pure poetry. But (unfortunately), terribly difficult to do well. The incredible misdirection, smoothness and effrontery is a gift of nature. I've practiced the trick on and off for several years, and still I'm not very confident about perfoming it the same way Slydini does. I agree, you probably should try to adapt the trick to your own style.

Like Gerald said, a mere mortal trying to perform Slydidni's effects the way Slydini performed them just won't work. His material was perfect for him.

The trick is presented in a challenge style, which can seem quite obnoxious if you're not REALLY charming.

But Slydini was charming!

He made a couple of comments to the spectator that might have made him uncomfortable.
