Hey guys,
This is a new release from Hugo Valenzuela. The trailer might have been a little over the top but I found some really great moments of magic in there that can lead to some really cool effects. More info: http://www.murphysmagic.com/product.aspx?id=59558 Best regards, Titanas

Why don't people spend more time in capturing and recording the routines, effects, live performances etc than waste their time putting together completely unnecessary cinematic pointless trailers. To be honest this trailer is very cheesy and really not needed. Just put the time, effort and money into real world performances and let us as the potential buyers decide if we want to purchasers or not.
You will get no where with pointless build up trailers. Get filming real world performances to real world unpaid actors/stooges and let us decide. This is a note to all further developers, dealers, inventors even thinking about going down this route - again. |

Sometimes creative types actually try to be "creative" - no real harm in that. I absolutely agree that I prefer trailers that get to the point to show exactly what one is purchasing, but you shouldn't hate on those that like to express themselves. I think the best solution for this would be to create two trailers for everything released. Go to town creating one of them however one chooses (some people enjoy the "hollywood" type stuff), and another simple one-camera shot with no edits that shows exactly what your going to get. Penguin sometimes does this with their effects. It gives people a choice on what they want to spend their time watching. Just my two-cents, I don't have anything to do or know the person responsible for this particular effect, but obviously this guy spent considerable time creating this trailer. Seems silly to "hate" on him for simply expressing himself.

The Trailer may be a little over the top, however, the effect looks real cool to me.

I don't think it's a case of 'hating' on him because of what he's done, it's more of a you could have spent more of your resources putting together a more practical trailer e.g more performance shots, live performances etc. Although I personally feel it looks quite cheesey, the production of it is good. But just feel that the majority of magicians and people here on the Café and other, would prefer a straight trailer, nothing really fancy but more to the point of what it is and how does looks etc. With more footage of this rather than 75% of the other.

I hate Pentagrams and manifestation of a Satanism. for whom this video is DESIGNED? - on teenagers - it is possible, but not professionals!
David Copperfield used a similar trick - the same effect - the coin rises in the palm of your hand (but the viewer from the auditorium). In the context of false viewer - this is ideal. But video full ****!
I love the magic & history of magic! My favorites magicians - Dai Vernon, Max Malini, Fielding West, Michael Finney, Jeff Hobson, Bob Sheets, Nick Lewin, Harry Murphy, Dick Oslund- great showmen of magic!

The video shows the footage of Ninel Kulagin. It was in no way connected with spiritualists. This video is a set of crazy frames found on the Internet. I think it makes no sense to develop our discussion.
Magical mood!

Outside of her, there is footage of a seance circle, a Ouija board, tarot cards, the clip starts with text citing the premise that there are spirits in our world and they communicate with us by moving small objects. So I am not sure what you are trying to say. First you complain that it is Satanic, then say he uses footage of a Russian psychic(?) (I know the story).
The premise is obvious, "spirits communicate through moving objects, and the name "Medium". I get it, not everything is for everyone, but don't make assumptions about those of us who do like these things. |

Forgive for my English, some phrases can be misunderstood! I hope everything is all right my friend!)
The language barrier - prevents me to tell, and to you to understand. I strenuously study English) It is necessary to be exact in formulations. Ninel said that she has telekinesis.( 1.I wrote a review article, about Ninel, with the nuances of her tricks.) 2.Spiritualism - a religious and philosophical current, at the heart of which — belief in reality of posthumous life and a possibility of communication with spirits of the dead by means of mediums. 3.With the filing of Eliphas Levi, the turned pentagram became the symbol of Satan and Satanism. 4.Give me links to books - where it says that mediums used pentograms? And we will continue the discussion!

There is no need to continue the discussion. It is bordering on being off topic.
The pentagram, or 5 pointed star is a universal symbol and not confined to one man's interpretation. Tell those in Wicca that they are Satanists, and you may not be able to walk again. The symbol is an early Christian symbol, a Greek symbol, a symbol meaning the universe. Since you mention Levi, Agrippa referred to is as astrological, it is used in several magical traditions of conjuration, of banishing, of cleansing... The list goes on. My first grade teacher told us the peace symbol was a Satanic symbol, it represented the devil's pitchfork... Silly people with their own prejudices. The premise of the video as spelled out in the text at the beginning is that spirits communicating by moving objects. The video you refer to just shows things moving, he is using the imagery to convey the concept of things moving, he never mentions Ninel. And I hope, unlike Ninel, this does not involve thread. |

*Wicca - We read carefully)
I said that - the turned pentagram became the symbol of Satan and Satanism. So I still walk again. Of course this is a joke, we have already found out the nuances in the personal message) Thank you Tony! *And I hope, unlike Ninel, this does not involve thread. And with spirits.

As you say, he turned the pentagram. But there is no need to turn anything, view it from a different angle, the symbol is still the same.
If I draw a pentacle, it will look one way to me, but someone standing opposite me will see it differently. |
