Ok, just a quick poll, I'm looking for "proper" pronunciation for Kadar.
1) Do you say [KAY'-dar] Or 2) [KAD'-ahr] Or maybe 3) [KAHH'-dar] Or even 4) [kah-DAHR'] Or something else? On first glance I thought #1, but now I'm thinking with a sort of Middle Eastern/Asian feel, #4 might be more appropriate. I know there is no real right or wrong answer, just curious about the variations.

Well I guess you guys deserve a little back story to this.
#4 is indeed the closest. Let us wind the clock back to the end of the last ice age, when the ancient civilisation of the Khadhri were all but wiped out in a global cataclysm. The profound and secret knowledge from this advanced civilisation was entrusted to five remaining magi, who were tasked to settle in (what they saw as) the most advanced emerging native cultures. The information they held was encoded in ancient book called the Artifactum - a series of portals to dimensions where the Kahdhri had retreated. These once great seers are remembered and their names past down by the initiates whose task it was to rebuild the great civilisation. Unfortunately, a cultural Chinese whispers set in and the knowledge was lost (or was it?) and the ancient Khadhri priests degenerated with each retelling of the tale. Things have a funny way of resurfacing from the collective unconscious do they not? Yeah, I know it all sounds a bit far fetched - but, y'know........ ..... So yeah, lets go with #4! ;-)
