I seem to remember as a kid in the late 1960's having something like that. I don't remember, but for some reason, the Puffin book of magic jumped into my brain.

Sometimes these are marketed as "Card Castle." Uday makes one, as do others. Try a search for "card castle production."
It's still magic even if you know how it's done.
