I have searched the forum for an answer but have been unable to find one. Does anyone have any recommendations on envelope weight when creating a double envelope for Fiedler's Flier-type routines where the envelope is first shown empty, sealed, and then revealed to have a card inside when ripped open? I've tried security envelopes #10 as well as some heavy envelopes (i.e. from Michael's in the US -- the Recollections product line) but am running up against 2 issues:
1. The heavier envelopes are very stiff and I think a bit unnatural, especially when adding the insert to an already thick envelope. 2. The #10 security envelopes are still a bit too see-through, which means they need to be held close to the chest to avoid backlight flashing issues of the hidden card. I'm wondering if the solution is a combination of 2 different weight envelopes that match but If anyone has cracked this (and I'm sure many have), I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thank you. Rob
