Iain then tell Steve Brooke's to change the rules of the latest and greatest section then . The point is you do not have to take a punt in the dark these days creators will explain fully to serious buyers or performing magicians and it's laughable for anyone to think otherwise . Christians Triple C deck for example he sent me the password and full tutorial before I bought the effect and then as I liked it I decided to pick one up off him so it's common place now imho Tarik 😊

Tarik - I was agreeing with you...was just saying people go far too far in their guesswork, and quite often end up giving away too much information "out in the open"...

I agree with Rowland if layman are going to think how did he / she do that it's pretty dam obvious that as magicians and buyers of an effect we are going to be at least mildly method curious don't you think lol Tarik 😊

Iain you may well be right but then the rules perhaps should be changed as people particularly magicians are quite likely to guess right , particularly when there is nothing really new in magic . Just better updated versions of old principles in the main . Best wishes Tarik 😊

Even if the "rules" here allow you some latitude as far as speculating, doesn't mean you have to speculate.
Not pointing fingers at anyone, just speaking in general. |

I know this is an open forum but really how many non magicians are going to come on here to find out how a trick is done. I really don't think a bit of speculation on here is doing anybody any harm. Note I said speculation and not exposure. I am against exposure as much as anyone.

Hi! I love this and it sure is easier than the old way. I don't have it and am waiting for it to arrive after ordering. I want to know if you can go from writing, cap then non writing? In each demo it is non writing, cap, writing. I am assuming since I haven't gotten it yet but I'd rather write first, then non write. Possible?

I would think that if you could write first, then non-write that they would show that in the video as that is how you would logically present it in most cases.
IOW, can you use it as a regular Sharpie and be able to write something for one effect such as having a card signed, and then later on go into a different routine using the non-write, write feature using the same pen? |

(ie not as shown in trailers) Unless the gimmick requires 'private time' and a third party tool, like a wrench lol, to fit (which I doubt)...then I don't see why with sleight of hand and misdirection it can't be fitted mid-performance. Will report back on any possible ways once I actually have the gimmick and had a play. |

You could easily write with it and then set it ready for performance.
I've had play around with one today and it works very well. We still have stock left available here http://www.saturnmagic.co.uk/saturn-magi......ick.html

Mine arrived today, had a little look...this is very clever and very well thought out...well done to all involved...
doesn't take a genius to work out what to do if you want someone to write...well...whenever you want them to...

I am pretty sure that I know the answer to my own question, but if anyone has this, can you answer whether this can be used with the Sherpa shells? I currently use a regular Sharpie inside a Sherpa, but I am guessing this probably can't be adapted?
Appreciate any insight you may have. MD |

Michael the original Sharpie cap is critical in the method of this effect so assuming a Sherpa does away with the original Sharpie cap ( I don't have one so not sure ) then I can't see it working unless you modify it yourself . Best wishes Tarik 😊
