To the right of Alice stands the Unicorn a mythical creature and to her left stands the Lion a real creature. The Unicorn, a mythical creature, corresponds with the right hemisphere of her brain and the patter. The Lion, a real creature, corresponds with the left hemisphere of her brain and the experiment. There is no magic until the realism of the experiment proves the surrealism of the patter true! At the climax, the Unicorn exists but it can be! The realism of the magic is a result of the realism of each step in the experiment which builds the case. The surrealism is a result of the surreal mythical nature of the patter. So the magic dilemma then is two art forms: surrealism and realism. Plum cake in the middle: you can’t have your cake and eat it. It is but can’t be. So to create a magic effect one might think like a surrealist artist; elephants on stilts Cut your hand and instead of blood, sand pours out! That sort of nonsense. Incidentally, the surrealist movement was stated by magicians – it is essentially anti-rational. Which is essentially that which we do; we come up with something anti rational but then prove it rational -we conjure up the irrational.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

While it may break the rules of our magic, I think one might do something random for a laugh:

That link is an interesting pov that I had not considered consciously. Social commentary aside, is it a direction even worth pursuing?
