This is not a book of methods. At it's core, I would say that this is more about ways to enhance the presentation of your existing methods. It gives some different ploys and principles to be able to take chances and 'do it for real' so to speak (along the lines of Peter Turner). And it also gives some nice ways to create additional effects based on known information (Bedroom light/heartland feeling is a very cool idea).

Something to consider is that many (most?) of the ideas in the book use playing cards. I suppose that most of the playing card stuff is adaptable to other things, but not exactly as written.

The one thing I didn't really connect with is 'Modesto'. It starts with a propless effect and relies on a CT or a p**k as an out if the main method doesn't provide the right stuff. For me - I'd just use the CT or p**k in the first place. I understand that there is some clever thinking in the propless idea, but it's not for me. But then I don't care too much for PAs at all, so I may be biased (though this isn't a normal PA).

Is this something you should buy? It will probably disappoint you if you were hoping for a book of methods. If you are a mentalist and you don't use playing cards, much of it will be interesting but not directly applicable.
On the other hand, it could be very valuable if you're looking for some ideas to juice up your act and create the opportunity for some actual miracles.
