This is really good, I was lucky enough to see the gimmick up close and it is totally unique and beautifully engineered.
I am pretty sure you will like the gimmick as much as I do. If you like what you see in the trailer, this is the best way to accomplish this effect. More Info: http://www.murphysmagic.com/product.aspx?id=60126 Best regards, Titanas

I’ve been using this for the past few days and I really like it. There’s no app or fake screens etc here.. you really do use your own or a borrowed charging cable and plug it into a spectators phone.. at your command it starts to charge.
MoM have it on the site now with FREE worldwide shipping here https://www.magicshop.co.uk/charge2 I performed this yesterday for a corporate.. Asking groups to hold hands and then touch my finger to make a phone start charging..Not the most sophisticated of presentations.. but people loved it. Have you ever been asked about telekinesis or how Ouji boards work? I sometimes talk about how everyone has a little bit of kinetic energy.. When everyone touches the glass, it’s enough energy collectively.. iCharge 2.0 could be used to demonstrate that… just an idea. The Practice Challenge: Handling the charging cable in a relaxed comfortable way, and not making that the focus of attention. It’s easy to do and a few rehearsals will have that down. The device is well made and easy to use. it charges via USB, and is compatible with any changing cable that uses USB. Its expected to ship worldwide on July 31st Hope this helps Dominic

At least I hope it's not the same type of gimmick. The copy says: "Everything needed comes from the spectator's phone and data line....you do not need any sleights or suspicious props"...so hopefully it doesn't. What Decibel did well is that its not just that the headphones are playing music while unplugged. But that a named song (of personal significance) is played thru the headphones. That's a strong 1-2 punch. iCharge looks like a cool effect too but it seems like just a jab in comparison. A one hit, "hey look, I powered your phone without plugging it in". To be fair, I see in the trailer there are other applications..revealing a chosen object or a which hand...which is interesting. But it kind of seems like a forced excuse to use the effect/gimmick. Sure, you could use the usual patter about harnessing the energy, etc etc etc, but still. All that said, I am curious about this and Im sure it has some cool applications. Will be interested to see some reviews for sure. |

Are you using the spectators charger ? Or you supplied a charger ? I doubt it comes with a gimmick charger cause you will need different chargers for different phones right ?
Thanks, Jeffrey |

Also no TT is required. I like the concept of a real apple being used to charge an iPhone this is a good one to have in your case when the client surprise asks if you can do some magic with their iPad. I was asked that a couple of weeks ago at a shares awards event. this would have been an easy answer/fix Hope this helps Dominic

The gimmick for this is really clever. I do not have it, but I did get to see it in action. I personally use Magic Charge by Wenzi as well, but if I didn't I'd be happy with this one. A fun presentation is using the Charge Me app do first charge your phone with their cord, while its not plugged into anything, and then charge their phone. You could in theory do the same routine without the need of the app, but I feel it allows for a cleaner initial phase, and then lets you change up the method for the second phase

Dominic,
A few people have referenced "Magic Charge by Wenzi." Since this is already on the market, can you please explain any differences and improvements you may have put into iCharge 2.0 Thank you for your assistance. |

Basically there are two differences. With Magic charge, you "plug" a wall charger into your hand, or a card or something to charge the phone. You could also just hold the charger. The gimmick is self contained but you need something extra to make it work (which is provided). However you are 100% angle proof. With iCharge 2.0, you only hold the cable, and you don't need anything extra, as the gimmick does the work, but there is a brief moment where you need to cover your angles. I'm talking only like a second, but it's still something to consider. I personally prefer Magic Charge, only because it suits my presentation better, but that being said iCharge's gimmick is very clever, and super simple to use

Magic Charge sounds like the better option?

No need for sleeves!
And it really comes down to personal preference. Basically it comes down to if you want to only be holding a cable or holding a cable plugged into a wall charger
