Anyone have an opinion as to what is the best rope to use for cut & restored rope tricks? It's okay if I have to core it...also the best rope for rope & ring effects (and Professor's Nightmare!) which I would think would be a bit stiffer than that used for cut & restore? I bought some rope made in India (I think most of you would know the brand) and I'm not terribly happy with it...would prefer better even if the cost was higher...

PS ...and where to by it...
While the amount of water has remained static, the amount of Tequila and Triple Sec available for making Margaritas has expanded enormously. So you see, we have made progress after all. ~Anonymous

M. Tesla,
I'm the owner of BaronianTrading.com, if you've heart of BTC ropes, those are from me. I offer 5 different ropes, ranging from 8mm to 15mm thickness, with core and without. Please feel free to visit the site to see the ropes and the reviews.
The ropes for cut & restored are BTC1, BTC2, and BTC3.
For Professor's Nightmare, you can use any of the ropes that I offer. It really depends on YOUR preference and what you feel comfortable with. Your best bet is to try the sample pack so you get a feel for each rope and see what best works for you. After you've figured out which your favorite is, you can then get them by the spool.
If you have any other questions, you can email me direct at dany@baroniantrading.com.

I don't think you'll find any pure white magician's rope thicker than this.
Super visible on the largest stage.

Great for many uses but probably too big for some things.
Better for things like Professor's Nightmare type effects than C&R routines.

$12.00 for 16', $18 for 25'.

Buy a length and check it out and see if it works for you.
