Today, a freind has died, she lost a five year battle against Cancer. Her decline and death did not look pretty. Obviously I am very sad.
I am not old enough to start losing freinds like that. She was only 51 years old. She leaves behind a husband and daughter. I met this woman in 1986 at Hunter College in New York City. We had one class together, but we became freinds. Never more than friends, but freinds. I think we both felt comfortable around each other. She moved to the San Fransico area in California. No internet yet, so we lost touch I finished at Hunter and moved to Los Angeles. I met a woman in Los Angeles. I knew early on I was going to marry this woman. At one point she introduced me to a freind she had made. It was this same freind I knew at Hunter! She had moved south from San Francisco and some how befreinded my future wife. Small World. Here we are 30 years later, and she is gone. I wish her the safest possible journey to the best possible afterlife. Death is inevitable, foolish to run from it or deny it, but it still hurts like heck, and she was just to young.

Sorry to hear about your friend Cliff.
I've lost a few people to illness who went far too soon. It just sucks.

I, too, am very sorry for your loss. Please see my thread in the "Looking out for our own" forum. 2017 has been--and will continue to be--a rough year for me.

That is a very saddening story and our condolences.
There seems to me to be an awful lot of young people with cancer these days, more than 30 years ago.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.
