My friend, Federico Ludueña, has come out with with a cool crib sheet that will fit on the back of a business card. With this crib you'll be able to call out any day for any date given. It comes with the instructions on how to use it.
Federico has been tirelessly pursuing this effect for years. I remember when he first started talking to me about it over 12 years ago. I'm sure many will now start carrying this tool around and you can find it here: https://www.lybrary.com/day-for-any-date......156.html Greg

I use a variation of Harry Lorayne's method for the current year, taught in the Memory Book. This is the perfect addition.
Plus for those purists, he outlines and credits other methods as well. As I use it for birthdays and anniversaries, this method is near perfect. It took about 2 minutes to get the hang of it, in that time, I did 5 dates mixing the 20th and 21st centuries. Right now it takes about 10 to 15 seconds, for those who don't count to 6 on your fingers, it may be quicker. Tony |

Thanks for chiming in, Tony. Federico has a bit of OCD when it comes to this idea. He has been tweaking this for over a decade. I think just about every time I've talked to him he was was working on another method or presentation.
I hope some others see the value in this because it does what it says it does and it's pretty inexpensive for what you get. Greg

This sounds absolutely fabulous, and it's something I've been thinking about in a vague way for several years.
Do I still have to do the calculations, or do I simply "see" the answer directly? Is it even possible to memorize the crib sheet? |

Mikael, I tried to fine-tune everything to have the chart do most of the work. You just need to handle the addition of a single digit. You do not see the answer automatically, but almost. Re: chart memorization, there is no point, since the work required should send you down the Zufall path, as Greg suggests. Within the instructions there is a description of the method for a really fast demonstration (writing entire month of birth). Everyone should look like an Arthur Benjamin clone doing that particular one.
Hope this helps and thanks for interest. |

Ok, thank you. It's definitely on my future list.

As you know I now have bought it.
It was very well written and easy to understand. Actually, I started by looking at the crib, and I immediately understood how it was supposed to work even before I read the instructions. It has some "extra" effects that I really liked. The best thing for me was that it got me thinking about if I can simplify my usual method. I'm really satisfied with my decision to buy it since I don't buy much magic nowadays. |
