Would definitely enjoy taking a look at it, if that's fine by you.

Thanks for sending me your method.
If you want a version that uses 8 cards, then look at the mindblaster book by Peter Duffie. There is an 8 card stack where you take the chosen card plus the next two cards and look for a mark to signify 1 or 0. Putting those 3 binary digits together as a 3-digit binary number, then adding 1 gives you the card's position (1 to 8) in the stack. Another idea in that book is using colours as your markers based on snooker ball values. E.g. red = 1, yellow = 2, etc. |

Re the above book reference. it is in "Mind blasters - England goes mental" by Peter Duffie.

I would love to take a look - I'm interested, you could use it as a bank night routine with small envelopes, one containing the cash you are betting. they put the money in an envelope and focus on that. same routine but with a goal of sorts. may add justification of sorts?
you could up the cash and if you guess where they put it and are focusing you keep it. I don't yet know the method so I am unsure as to whether this is possible! Thanks -T |

Theocreswell,
You'll see why it's unlikely that you'll change the bundle of business cards with envelopes once Rich sends you the method. The effect is that you can say without looking at the chosen card, which number they have chosen, but if you want to retrive the card / envelope and mix it afterwards, there is only a 25% chance that you would hit the card / envelope they touched. In this case, you earn more money by betting against yourself. You need to handle for this method the bundle of cards / envelopes in a special way and a stuffed envelope in addition would make anyone suspect that you just felt where the money was placed. Best Regards Jester |

Ah shame,
I'm getting increasingly curious as to what the method actually is, looking forward to additional information! -T |

I recieved the method.
The principle is old and had been used before in mentalism world before. I would suggest using ESP cards for the same effect. But still thanks for sharing the idea. |

I'm not a fan of esp cards, but that opens up ideas thanks!

I see that Osterlind handles this in the classic routine by putting consolation prizes of lottery tickets in the non-winning envelops. |

I am no longer providing this effect as the method, but not the effect, is old as pointed out to me and nobody likes it.
