I consider myself very lucky to have Pete as a friend, he is t just an amazing thinker he is also a great guy to hang out with outside of mentalism. It’s a real privilege to see these ideas grow from tiny seeds over the years. Pete has a fabulous way of really squeezing the most out of the smallest idea and taking things in multiple directions.

One of my fav moments in the entire series is actually with you Mark. When he presents a routine based on credit cards you provided EXACTLY the kind of discussion I was hoping to hear. The first few times I tried the principle years ago in NY, it was called out multiple times in a row. With NY being a finance capital of the world there are just so many people aware of the principle. Literally every random group of 8 people here has 2 working in finance.
When I saw this Routine make the DID 2 “cut” I thought to myself “oh well they’ll probably gloss over what to do with people in the know” and then — here comes Mark saying almost exactly word for word what I was thinking. Then a lengthy discussion on how to still utilize the principle. Great stuff. With London also being a financial capital of the world I just assume the same issue would be run into. It’s great to see such thinking go into the material. |

Finally got my usb stick and totally happy with the investment. The naming of the videos is a bit confusing sometimes.
After checking the sequence in the pdf I am still a bit lost at "Nifty Introduction": the explanation video 3 with Peter and Fraser ends with "now let's talk, what to do when the spectator...". But the next videos are about billets. Where do I find the video I would expect to be "explanation video 4"?! would be thankful for a pm, thank you |

Just here to say that I've been performing many of the routines on here and have got to say I'm loving them!
These are such strong routines! Probably my most performed routine is throwaway introduction as it is quick and it is really, really powerful. I'm also loving countdown and book of the fallen, again they are so,so strong! These are the routines that I'm currently performing from the set : To name a place Throwaway introduction Nifty introduction Countdown Book of the fallen The unnamed A kick to the teeth (this one was weird as I wasn't fond of it at the start but then I started performing it and the reactions to the effect caught me off guard! Very strong!) So so greatful to Peter for making this set! Sleepy |

After having a little time to polish and start to perform a small amount of this material I am excited about the ability this gives me to take another big step towards using minimal or no props in mind reading performance. The 'Destination' variant of 'Guess Who' has become a personal favourite, you could not ask for a more clean and convincing propless effect! I am finding room for some byplay and gags in the build up phase also, I find by getting them laughing and carrying on in the story phase the impact of the mind reading reveal is even stronger. Also finding 'To Name a Place' an invaluable addition to my regular sets and having performed Bob's routine for many a year Pete's new way of approaching this classic is seriously awesome. Loved Fraser's comment at the end of the performance, probably sums up nicely what it's like hanging out with Pete

As I like Throwaway introduction I took a different approach in terms of "setting". After watching The Whisper Tapes Vol.8 - Psych Forces 01 by Lewis Le Val I came up with this combination that I use actually and maybe it's something for you too:
In the effect The Hotel Lewis describes a way to force a certain city. For me this is the most comfortable and safest way to get to a certain city I have read so far. I use his hotel plot to introduce the deck as kinda souvenir from last night that lays on the nightstand. Additional to the deck setup inside the box I wrote a greeting that ands with a Date (year) and Location (the city) or a "Welcome To..." the suit represents the weather, the value the floor the specator stays in the imaginery hotel. (make sense, when you got Lewis' force.) If I get a hit at the location I direct the spectactor to have a look inside the box after he found his selected card. |

Just watched the 'Early Years' segment of this release. WOW, what a phenomenal story to share!! I want to thank Peter for putting this in the release. For me this was the BEST part of all of it, such a beautiful and fascinating insight in to very personal life experiences and thoughts. Hearing the way Peter has used his childhood challenges to spur him on creatively was truly humbling and it is easy to see why Peter deserves the outstanding success he has achieved in our field. What an incredible story, no doubt it will serve as a great inspiration to those privileged enough to see it.
What I love most about this is the perfect illustration that sheer will power, focus and determination will get you 100% of the way towards your goals if you can harness them inside yourself. Peter tends to share a lot of positive messages through his performance and I can now see a lot more where this purpose he has to show people that they can dare to dream that they have the ability to shape their own existence is coming from. If magic can have a 'purpose' beyond mere amusement I'm sure many of us feel instinctively that the ability to deeply touch, amaze and inspire others from within is where it's at

Hi, has anyone been with contact with Pete lately, cause I have purchased both DID2 and Midas touch and havnt been able to reach him (for more than a week now) in regards to shipment. I would greatly appreciate it If someone can tell me how to get into contact with him. I have tried emailing but he hasn’t replied since last Monday (the 9th). I hope everything is ok with him.
Thanks, Shahin

Pete always comes through.
Being one of the most talented mentalists means he is also very busy (productive) I suggest to reach out to him privately again and he will get you squared away.

I agree with you completely MDantes, Pete is The best in the field and a very busy man because of it. He is also a very helpful and honest individual, as I am the proud owner of much of what he has put out and he has always been in contact regularly in regards to the products he has shipped out (and always so generous with his time to help out With any questions I have had). That is exactly why I am worried as he hasn’t come back to me and usually he is very quick in responding back. I hope he is well and that he has just been busy. Will definetly try messaging him privately again. Thanks
