Hi all, I have the start of an idea, but am having trouble working out how to carry it out.

I want to generate two football teams from a list of 100, then generate a "random" score for the resulting match between them.

I have two iPhones, so generating two different football teams is easy, what I am stuck on is a way of generating a score for the resulting match. I really don't know where to start at the moment. Using a deck of cards to force a number is a bit long winded, and I think it would be neater to keep it in the phone if I'm already using it. I'd love to get this idea off the ground, but am stuck at the moment. Any help appreciated!

Ok. On the single phone with the app make 2 football lists but have them in random order from each other, so two separate lists. Spec chooses a number and you now have forced two football teams.

Reset app as per instructions.

Ask spec for another number

A third list will have 100 random scores, that’s your score forced.

After reading through this entire thread, I have purchased DFB. Looks like it has a lot of potential. And it already passed the wife test with just the basic preloaded routine. I have many thoughts of how I want to use this, but my first thought when purchasing was for one of Chris Philpott’s routines on Narcissus that he uses a svenpad for. This way I can have several setup without buying multiple pads. I am very much looking forward to exploring this more. I have requested access to the Facebook group as well, just waiting for approval.
