Not to beat a dead horse, but if I may chime in, I think I understand the miscommunication.
warren made two posts about his conversation with Eric Jones. mrjinglesusa responded to the first one, but *after* the second one was already made. So while mrjinglesusa was correct that he had "asked in for clarification about the (first) post", it wasn't relevant anymore, as warren had already been more specific. Anyway, I'm still surprised, as I think handing it out is risky, and see plenty of people handle coins by the edges instead of the centers. Perhaps it's a difference between those that enjoy coins (and looking at the images on either side). Or perhaps it has something to do with whether someone starts handling the coins by edge or face and folks are unlikely to switch while examining. I think it's too much for me, but Eric does have a ton of experience that I trust and respect, even if I wouldn't do the same thing. |
