I've not received mine yet, but reading between the lines, there seems to be a problem with a certain range of low numbers.
Could you simply ask for cards to be counted to the table while giving directions at the same time? By the time you let them know they can stop at any number, that problem range has already passed. To the owners, is this a possible workaround? |

The cards of my deck starts to loose the grip necessary for the final revelation.... any suggestion how to fix it??

Videoman, thank you, question answered. 
I can understand not mentioning worst case scenarios in the advertising, but to not mention them in the tuition is lazy and disrespectful to those that have supported the effect. But in all fairness, my statement is only based on posts above. I'll know for sure soon enough. It would be nice if Penguin could email the video links when not stored on site. Cheers |

For those asking for a workaround, you could set the end of the deck as “normal” and limit their selection to a lower number (e.g. “name a number, but just keep in mind we’ll be counting down to the number you name in a moment”). That subtlety asks for a lower number without outright saying it. You can then casually shuffle just a small amount of cards after their selection as done in the trailer and drop the rest of the deck on top. Might be worth a try.

I need some advice...I received the deck and it was all set up to use....worked like a charm every time.
I went our and gigged with it last night and now the deck won't hide the 6th card??? If a number high than 6 is named there is still one card visible in the spread. The only thing I can think of is the 5th card has to have some special something on it in order for the 6th card to disappear when reversing them. In the instructional video he just says start with 5 normal blank cards on top but that does not seem to work right?? Anyone else have this issue? |

Same problem here..... actually after a while (not that long) my deck doesn’t hide any of them.
I think the video doesn’t explain what to do. I think we need some RS Spray to fix it. |

When stickiness plays such an important role then the whole effect becomes risky. No spray where I live so I petroleum jelly which for this wouldn't work well I think. Also, after giving it some thought I understand the need for a high number. I think people here are thinking too much about it. Simple solution: ask for a double-digit number. Or if you want to be more precise a double-digit number between 10-50. No spectator will think twice about it.

Another solution for the number could be to combo effects. I was thinking yty about the number effects like "Out of the Blue". You could use "Out of the Blue" or a similar type effect to get a large number and then go into Scaandal or use an ungimmicked deck to achieve the same result.
