I'm not saying they can't (don't) exist; just that I've never heard the term used except with regard to the two I mentioned. If Nikolas Cruz had won a Nobel Prize for curing cancer, no news reports would have labeled him a "white Hispanic."

Most Spaniards are so called white but there is a spectrum of skin tone because of mixing with slaves and people from the places we conquered. Since Hispaniola or Hispanic is mostly a generic term given to most tan people, the term is very misleading.
No matter how many times you say the wrong thing, it will NEVER be right.

the term is very misleading Agreed; most terms referring to race are misleading due to the very conception of race conceived as a constructed category to oppress others. Because that oppression is real, the reaction and battle over terms becomes political and fraught with a meaning that never existed before. In the US, we can see how the meaning of the term "white" has been fluid over centuries, rather than referring to any scientific category. In the early 20th century in US history, neither Irish, Italian, or Jewish immigrants (regardless of skin tone) were considered white. In more recent years, Chinese and Japanese have become "white" in US society, but not Vietnamese or Filipinos yet.

Yes. Contrary to some recent popular views, the military is not a social service agency. The purpose is to get soldiers to obey orders and not hesitate to kill for the Homeland. The purpose of JROTC is to valorize and recruit.

You have a strange view of the military if you think their number one job isn't to train soldiers to kill. But if you'd like to remove all weapons from the military, I would support you. JROTC is part of the problem of extending our Sparta-like addiction to militarization to ever-expanding spheres of life.

The military is there to kill. That's what it's for. There is no military on Earth that doesn't teach its soldiers to kill others. I don't see why you would deny that. Call things what they are.
