What about the too perfect theory?
By showing them fairly mixed up and then without any moves showing them separated, wouldn't it have them begging to see the cards? |

No I believe the too perfect theory doesn’t exist . I want to get it right and the too perfect theory is ok if a mistake happens but I would rather perfection . The amount they see of the card the way they are shown takes that out of their minds as they pretty much see the whole card and 26 of them are or can indeed be the whole card so that is not a problem . How many times in Skinners Aces do spectators ask to see the cards and in that effect where they are more likely to ask than Cosmos 3.0 and they never do . Regards Tarik 🙂

Tarik. Buy yourself a couple of packs. The adverts have worked for you. The more you shuffle the more impossible it becomes to separate the cards.
Skinners Aces are routined totally different. Do Currys OFTW with a $2 deck. Spectators will recall that you separated the cards they will not give a *** about the fine details. |

If you can perform these effects "without a Fake deck", more power to you brother ... I would love to see a video of your performance "without a Fake deck". Please stop the condescending language like "Sell, sell, sell, sell. Sucker Magicians sign up". If you don't like the product, don't buy it. Greg |

I will help magicians unreservedly and I whole heartedly won’t support a creator unless he deserves it unlike some creators mates . I say it as it is always and if my best buddy bought an effect to the market I wouldn’t only not support it if I thought it was rubbish I would say it was sh.te on here ! Greg’s products however deserve praise as does his customer service and he raises the bar time and time again with his brilliant thinking on effects so if you want an honest opinion on something from someone who has seen shed loads of magic in 42 years and is well read on the subject don’t be afraid to ask . Best wishes Tarik 🙂 |

Good for you Tarik. You love magic and have 42 years experience and want to be nice so your profile looks good and you are then known as the master of knowledge and other people will like you as you say good things and they say nice things back.
I only have an issue with the price for something that should be half the price and find "CREATORS" or as some people see them as magic gods rehash old principles and sell them as the new concept. I purchased Cosmos 2 and found I had purchased a Str"""er deck and had to mark it, now there is a full tutorial on youtube on how to make the deck and perform it. I don't have 42 years experience but I have a bad experience buying junk which I paid dearly for. Best wishes Master. |

On Mar 7, 2018, King14 wrote: You didn't just purchase a str***er deck though! You purchased a routine called Cosmos 2 which someone called Greg Rostami created that just so happens to use a str***er deck. By all means, you can go to a magic dealer or toy shop and buy a str****er deck for a low low price but all you'll learn aside from how to str** cards is maybe a few super simple card productions/finding tricks. Although certainly not impossible, you're not going to buy a str****er deck at a random shop and then on your own recreate cosmos 2 move for move exactly with no prior knowledge of the routine. You can't sit there after buying it and say "I just bought nothing but a str****er deck". Clearly you didn't connect the dots before hand that Greg was using a str****er deck or else your complaint would have stopped you buying it in the first place. What makes Cosmos most valuable is not the fact it uses a str****er deck...I've had a str****er deck for years, hardly use it. Used it again for Cosmos 2 for all of about two weeks, before doing it with a normal deck. The thing of value is the OOTW that Greg has routined. Again, having done OOTW's for years, personally this is the most natural looking one I've come across where they deal everything, and the "move" is extremely well motivated. You can disagree if you want about it's merits as an OOTW, but that's what you're paying for. Not a str****er deck. All the str****er deck is, in this effect, is a convincer. It's simply used to be able to show cards mixed one second, set up the next. In the grand scheme of things, that is such a small part of the Cosmos routine. That is why a) you bought more than a str****er deck and b) why I don't even use one to perform this. lol by your logic I'm worse off than you because I'm not even using "the thing I bought". |
