Hey everyone, Andreu here.
It's been some time since the original Legion manuscript was released; after discussing it with a friend we have decided to partner up and create Legion, the Web version. With Legion (Web) you have access to: * Divine over 2200 names in English, French and Spanish. * Receive all the results in your personal email. * Perform anywhere, anytime for anyone! * Powerful readings. * Bonus Star Sign Effect. It also has a lot of important improvements over the original concept, such as: * No need to ask for gender * No need to ask for any letters or an*****ms * No need to ask for language of the name We're currently working on an improvement to allow even more names. There will be a Subscription fee still to be defined, as this will run on a dedicated server. If you guys want to be notified of launch date / availability, just send a PM with your email. Kind regards, Andreu |

TheDirectionalist Special user I predict that I will have this many posts when you read this: 930 Posts |
I’ve had a chance to test both versions of these out. The old and the new..
I must say this version is a HUGE improvement to the old and is absolutely incredible. It’s so innocent looking and can go right on your site or social media. It’s a super innocent reading test that lets you harvest information immediately. I really like that it’s sent by email because you get it so fast and can keep it in a sepearate folder if you wish. Imagine trying to book with a client, telling them about a free reading test you have on your site.. And then being able to harvest their birthday star sign names.. It’s crazy! |

There’s over 5 thousand names in common use in the US, so assuming similar in the U.K. (probably many more) so this is a 50 / 50 gamble at very best.

Regarding "hit rate" we're taking actual metrics to know exact % and not just making any "suppositions" for the sake of it. Kind regards, Andreu |

I've looked at the website - and feel rather stupid
I'm not quite sure what this does? It's a page on my website, ppl can randdomly wander on [?] - they fill in birthdate, and name - and get a reading [?] Does anyone already have this up - so I can randomly go on their website and see what it looks like from a customers view point - as the website didn't help me understand what it is Thanks |

Thanks CA
I'm getting there [on understanding] I like that it's an add on - as if you yourself wrote the 'reading app' Welcome you to my reading app - give it a go, etc I had a go [as a user] For feedback - I wasn't sure where to fill in [the first box] - I was clicking on the actual letters - until I worked it out Then I get the readings, two pages. All good... I didn't know that was it I would suggest maybe something to make it clear that's the end of the reading [or I'm just thick] I thought maybe the person was going to have to input their email address - to get sent the full reading [that was you get a name/email/etc from this] I'm not sure how this works still... 1. It's just up on my website - so I get ppl randomly giving it a go - but that might not be useful, even with a name, as I may never meet them - or they may have gone on there after a show... too late 2. I ask people [preshow] if they want to have a go [?] either on my ipad [which means I know exactly who did do it], or I give out biz cards preshow with 'get your own reading here'. This creates a problem of having to say is anyone called 'x' Also point 2. has an issue as they have put some info in - and might just jump back to this if it's used during the show... especially as the name might be a divination... but if I don't know who the person was, err I lose that 'magic' I think all of the above is me 'thinking ou aloud' as I still don't quite get this I'm sure I'm being thick and it's great all over But even so - I love the idea of paying a small amount for this [compared to how much it would cost to actually make an app like this] and then having your name on this as if you have created this 'reading app' for your fans to use |

I have it directly on my site for testing purposes and to see how many of my clients click it and use it.
Mainly, I would use this for if I were on the phone with a client. I would direct them to that link while speaking with them. I may move it to my twitter profile so I can use it in conjunction with them following me. With that said, I still feel this tool is best used in an impromptu situation using the clients phone, just the like the old(er) version. |

Hey The Duster,
Trying to clarify some of your questions about Legion Web... Quote:

I thought maybe the person was going to have to input their email address - to get sent the full reading [that was you get a name/email/etc from this] Nope, but it is a great idea and it's actually possible if you already have a website. Simply add a field so they have to input the email to access the reading, this implies you will get email + reading results. Quote:
1. It's just up on my website - so I get ppl randomly giving it a go - but that might not be useful, even with a name, as I may never meet them - or they may have gone on there after a show... too late But it can be done during any intermission / break, or before. Quote:
2. I ask people if they want to have a go [?] either on my ipad [which means I know exactly who did do it], or I give out biz cards preshow with 'get your own reading here'. This creates a problem of having to say is anyone called 'x' Remember you can do this for OTHER'S people's names! So it doesn't really matter if you know a participant's name as far as you don't know for example, their mom's name to reveal. In that case you may say something like... "Karen, please think of your mother's name.. you haven't written this name anywhere and I haven't asked you anything about it, right?...", etc. Quote:
But even so - I love the idea of paying a small amount for this [compared to how much it would cost to actually make an app like this] and then having your name on this as if you have created this 'reading app' for your fans to use Thank you! Andreu |

When you think about trying to create a name divination without having a participant write the name down, one begins to appreciate just how daunting the task actually is.
I am not a fan of any method that relies on portable communication devices or digital technology. However, that's simply a personal preference and doesn't mean that I can't appreciate effects or methods that *do* use such things. Andreu performed this for me over google hangouts. I decided to choose a name that wasn't extremely uncommon, but just unique enough to give the thing a fair trial. The name I chose was "Shayne". Not only did he have the gender, but he had the name as well - and with proper spelling too. And all without a single question. I can't comment on the program itself because I haven't used it, but I do understand how the effect works. If the idea of a name divination is appealing and you have no issue with technology being used, then I think this might be something you'd enjoy. The fact that Andreu was even able to develop a system for doing a name divination is an impressive feat all on it's own and is no easy task. Good job! |

Andreu kindly gave me a temporary subscription to Legion so that I could give the website a trial run. So here's my review:
First of all, I can honestly say that this product does exactly what it says on the tin. You basically get access to a customisable website that looks like a legit page for instant numerology readings. And yet, you can use it to instantly obtain personal pieces of information about a spectator or even a friend they might be thinking of (name, star sign, life path number and name number). Everything was done in accordance to the official interpretations of numerology (the charts, the numerological numbers and the readings). Therefore, if you happen to show this to a spectator who is well-versed in that field, they will not find anything odd. If you like this premise, then don't hesitate and get this immediately. It really does as advertised. I personally like the fact that that you can customise the website. Plus, you get 3 different options of languages. In addition, you really have a lot of different applications for this. First of all, given the right circumstances, it could be quite a useful tool to use over the phone or during an online conversation with a potential client. Furthermore, you also have the ability to perform everything live and obtain all the information instantly during the demonstration. If you don't really fancy using any technological device during your performance, then there is a chance that this might not be for you. That being said, I really think it could suit many different styles of mentalism. I read one slightly negative review about the previous version of this product on Penguin Magic. According to that buyer, the spectators would "need to believe in numerology" for this effect to work. I really disagree with that statement. Yes, the overall premise would perfectly suit an audience of believers. However, I also think that it would work really well (if not even better) with a skeptic. In that situation, I would introduce the theme of divination and talk about things such as astrology, palmistry and numerology. And I would go on to ask the participant if they believe in those things or if they just take it with a pinch of salt. Then, I would simply offer them to test it out through an online numerology calculator. They type in some information about a friend, a family member or a loved one and look at the personality reading they obtain to decide for themselves how accurate it is. At this point, they might either be shocked by how correct it is, or they might find that it is completely way off. In any case, you (the mind reader) can take this to a much higher level by giving much more precise details about the person in question. In a nutshell, if you like what is described in the add, get Legion! You won't be disappointed. Francis |

I've got a subscription (and full disclosure, I won it in a contest) and have had some time to play with it and wanted to come back for my review.
First things first, this is either for you or it's not. Sounds obvious, I know, BUT if this is for you, it's really for you. Long story short, this app is necessary (a must-get) if you do this kind of work or enjoy name reveals, etc. This is an insane way (I'm not exactly poetic) to surreptitiously gather private info that is never said aloud, written down or divined through things like pa's or so on. Read that again, and if it excites you as it did me, I don't blame you. What it is: It's a site/web app for giving astrological/numerology readings that you can pass of as something you put together yourself (that they host). In the process of giving a reading for the participant you get information sent to you via email immediately with the results of the info they entered, effectively giving you their name and a bit more. The info you get is from them following instructions to think of a name of someone (could be themselves) and selecting numbers in a small grid with a few other inputs they select. Just writing that makes it sound disconnected or superfluous. It's not, it fits, is quick and is justified and unsuspecting because they have to do what they're doing not as an extra step, but as required to personalize the reading and as such justifies itself. I never knew of the first version, but what this is in ingenious. Pros and cons... Cons: *The look of the website can't change, so you're stuck with the "feel" that's up there and it's up to you to justify (if you even feel the need to) as it's kind of a "mysterious" performer look and feel. I use the whole thing under guise of how cold readers can apply info to make it look personal. (I know this isn't a popular method, but I don't pass of the mentalism aspect of what I do as legit mind-reading. Some do.) *The price is steep if you're not going to use it (as is anything) and you pay yearly vs. lifetime. *You have to be clear in your instructions as the spectator can mess this up and you have to dig yourself out once it's done. *The routine requires time and thought so it's not a walk-around effect (although I don't know why you'd do it this way anyway). Pros: *You get merely thought-of information delivered too your fingertips instantly that was never spoken or written down. How cool is that? The time sweat and money put into this is obvious. The programming allows you to get instant access to do a name reveal however you see fit. Incredible. *You can do this separated across space and time. Send a potential client an email with the link, place a link on your site or social media, or do it right there, right then on their phone. It's versatile and powerful. *If you have any kind of smartwatch (I have a Garmin Fenix 3 HR, but yes, also a T-watch which I love ) you can have the email sent to your watch and never look at your phone. The best part is the info you need is right there at the top of the email so at least for me, the preview gives me all the info I need to blow their minds as I do the reveals, OR... *You can keep the info and use it later in another routine. You'll have the name, gender, star sign and so on to wrap into your set later. *There's no delay, the info is available quickly. *The site/design is great. There are instructions for the spectator, it has that feel (like I said above) and looks very professional. *This can be used as dissecting curious psychological phenomena, pure mind-reading or anything in between. You're supplied the awesomeness, but YOU have to provide the "context" and with any serious performer, I'm not saying anything you don't already know. I had to have this one way or another when I first tested it. It's just so stupid cool. (That's my scientific appraisal.) In the end, it blows my mind this isn't racking up pages of comments like other threads do when something new comes along. This is a one-of-a-kind tool for serious performers, priced just right, and a steal if you make your living performing. I felt that way before I had a copy and nothing has changed. In my testing, I've ran it through some unusual names and it always got them. When I had a few choices (I'm thinking of one time in particular) I was able to "Banachek" some letters and really blow them away. Another time I failed because they weren't paying as close attention when entering what they needed to (I think I rushed the explanation). They've done great work. It is a linear way to get a name (as opposed to a peek wallet where the routine can be far more what you want it for with the framing you choose), but one of the best I've seen, especially in light of the ability to link it on your site and social media, and they'd never imagine a method possible. Pretty awesome stuff... |

I guess I'm lost. I keep reading you "have access to only thought-of information" which is immediately followed by "they enter information on a website".
So, people go to a website supposedly made by me and enter information, and then I tell them the information? Call me an idiot, but I don't understand why that's amazing.
It's all in the reflexes.
