That looks like the Richard Ross Cane Vanish. I did not know it was marketed anywhere, and using a Fantasio type Vanishing cane as well. To my knowledge, Fantasio never marketed this method.
Some new company is making the Fantasio Canes and Candles, and they have not been revealed to the market place. If they are selling this version, it is most likely without permission. Richard Ross marketed his Vanishing Cane gimmick through Supreme Magic ( a defunct Magic manufacturing compay) back in the 1970's. It was not explained in the instructions correctly. So I had no idea what it even was suppose to look like. Remember, there was no video back then. It is explained on his video lecture sold by Stevens Magic. It originally used a steel can. The person in that video, used a handling that has never been published to my knowledge. He just heighted that effect by 20%. Very nice handling, and using a plastic cane at that. It would have been perfect if he vanished the case as he caught the silk. It would have been 100% effective. Richard Ross does it without the silk. I use to own it, but do to the supplies did not know how great a vanish it was, and sold it. I did the vanish the 1st time I tried it, and did not get injured as one might think, because of the design of the gimmick. I used a metal Vanishing cane. That is a Vanishing Cane, with a special knob design to facilitate the effect. |

No that one by Café member Bojan Barisic is more complicated then the Richard Ross effect. He is selling his version on his website.
Richard Ross version is only available on the video from Stevens Magic. No demo available. https://www.stevensmagic.com/shop/richar......-27-dvd/ |

Thank you Bill. BB Vanishing cane 2.0 is actually much easier to set up and perform than my first version and it is still available.
