On a Doc Hilliard demo I noted a move or sleight that is new to me. Maybe someone can help identify.
I would label it a "reverse HPC fumble," It could be perfect for any Gadabout type effect. (alternative ending) you have three coins on the table. One is visibly tossed into the left hand to lie there on open palm. The second coin is picked for the toss, but your weary fingers drops it and then retrieves it for the toss. Hear the clink. The last coin is now placed in the pocket or elsewhere with an audience expectation of it joining the other two known to be in the left hand. The left hand is opened to reveal empty or another object. It seems to me that during the fumble the coin is palmed and the left hand HPC. With the apparent second toss you execute a Clink Pass and are now TWO ahead, or you toss another object over and then do the Clink. I have several old routines I am going to rewrite to include this handling and would like to give proper credit.
