,..i love reading that(!),
every time. 😌

I realised, just how SMALL my Imagination IS,
five minutes AFTER I muttered,
"EVERY imaginable thing has went wrong!"

uhhh,...

Monika and I hit the road, in the beginning of April.
We were promptly 'blitzed',
...racing along at 63 kmh....
roughly 30 mph(!).
(i even SAW the camera(!),..and waved!
...it was a '50 zone'.....

Through the winter,
we manage to 'pretty much' work out two 'new' Shows.
Pretty much.
,..thuroughly neglecting our 'old' dependible.

The plan was,
"...we'll play small townes for a few folks,
'til we get everything stable."

"The Simple-Dimple Tour".

The 'dimple' turned into a 'pimple'!

Every move we made was hopelessly false.
Cursed with great weather and hungery crowds...
Townes notoriously 'empty',..were unknowingly celebrating this, that, and the other(!).

...and no other Shows.
(,....including our own!)

'Fascination', is thinking about it.
'Imagination', is seeing it in your head.
'Masturbation', is taking it in your own hands.
'Motivation', is letting Monika do it!

"If you blow this one,
I'll start yelling out, "Me Too! Me Too! "
.....she's a hard woman.

,..she was great.

Weeks of non-stop playing,
...only sleeping, shaving, peeing, and going wrong ways;
we started 'ripening' pretty fine(!).
Flies were holding their noses,
as they flew by.
We needed a good soaking.
We're playing in a part of Germany now
known as, 'the 3 moors'.
"More sand."
"More wind."
"And nothing more."
Water's tight.
No rivers or wild swimming holes to dip one's toes-ys in.

When we're really 'dead',
we head straight to the next cemetary.
Quiet.
Shade(!).
Water!

In the little towne we're in,
we had three(!) to choose from!
We chose the 'public' one,...water's always free(!).
With the Catholics,..
you never know.

As we pulled in at 19:00,
after playing another 'happy strawberry day',
the parking lot was ours!

We grabbed our three empty water buckets
and went looking for the well,..
like two camels coming out of the desert.

Cemetarys are really cool places,
not only quiet, calm,...pretty flowers and water;
but some folks carve their last thoughts,
on their stones.
Dates, Loves. Professions...

Last night, however,
I needed a bath.
We weren't more then 15 minutes gone...
when we came back to the waggon.....
we were no longer alone(!).

Six Roma familys pulled in,
and set up camp!
The first waggon I saw,..
made me smile,
..relax.
The full water buckets felt somehow 'lighter'. 😌

("How are you?)
,...funny, Gypsys are not often so 'open'.

"Good.
Paanii. (water)
Monashay. Mort." (my woman)
..i ran out of words.

The man continued,
in English, French, and...?
"Dance. Chante. Baxtalo. Galby.
Kushty. Kushty."
,..then with a smile, "Duke. Duke."

I kinda nodded like I understood everything.
,...said 'Good night'.
,..and headed back to my bath-tub.

'Duke. Duke.'
'Galby',..
'Kushy Kushy'?,...!
never heard those one before.
"Probably means, 'You stink!', in romini", Monika added.

After 'Bath & Breakfast',
we googled and searched and foxfired 'kushy kushy', 'duke',...'galby. galby'.
Nothing.

This morning,
our neighbors packed up,
rolled out of the royal grounds;
but before leaving,..honked and stopped.
A girl came to our door,
gave Monika a chunk of ham, a piece of bread, and a bottleof beer(!).

In perfect English,
"The beer is for your husband."
(ha!)

Monika responded,
"What does 'duke' mean?

"D-O-O-K means 'Magic'.
We saw you play in Stendal.
'Kushy. Kushy!
It was fun!
Achh devilesa!"

(i looked that one up,..."good bye")

On the road again...
