Anyone think of using this with Vega's Screwed Card?

Using a screwed or twisted card is a great idea and adds to the impossible object and to the story the spectator will tell

Dany,
Yes you should be able to find the needed items easily. In Mexico we don't have a specific item, but my magic dealer has it, so I bought it from him. Alex

Is this new?
If this is the method I think it is, then it was released by a member on the theory11 forums about 8 years ago I believe The premise was not so much a TNR but it would be removing the creases from a restored card slowly and visually |

Very nice effect - devious and well-taught methods - can't wait to make some and perform
Could probably do this with business cards too. |

Performed at a wedding today - it's absolute killer
Just for bride and groom, this really is an incredible piece of magic. the handling is very well thought out. I can't speak highly enough of this. |

Been performing this for two days now, bars, at work etc. it is awesome! I made 10 gaffs in one sitting, it took about an hour and a half. once you get the assembly line going it gets easier. wax paper in between the gaffs in a card box is the way to go for storing them till ready. making the gaffs is a great way to use up all those old decks you have sitting in a box somewhere. great job Duane!

I’m looking for half/half cards. Is there a way to buy such a deck instead of getting them printed myself? Patrick |

Look, this trick requires work. The gaffs are freakin' incredible. They look exactly like ripped cards and they allow the magician to slowly and visually heal the ripped, stapled-together card right in under the spectators nose in a way that, well... looks like real magic. Revive has the ability to draw out the magical moment to a degree I've seldom seen in magic. Further, the magical item can be handed to the spectator straight away to be inspected and held as a keepsake.
For all the benefits of Revive provides, the gimmicks take a little work. The Revive gimmicks have a shelf life yes, but several T and R's do. The gimmicks need some minor consideration for storage, but nothing that is difficult or time consuming. For what the gimmick does, it is in my opinion, well worth it. Your mileage may vary... My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

Has anyone tried writing in the corner of each half prior to stapling? Like the first letter of the bride and the groom. Of course done by the presenter. Then after stapling, almost as an afterthought, having the specs sign their halves too.
I know it seems minor, but I wonder if it enhances the feeling of having seen the B card and the G card separately. |

What’s the longest this gimmick will last if properly stored? I know due to time constraints, the gimmick may break down or not perform as intended. If I make up several of these to perform over the next year, will it perform as new?
