All I'm saying is that this is 100% illegal and is in breach of the computer misuse act 1990 so use at your own risk. You are basically spying on someone's device without their permission which is illegal. These types of programs are used for business to keep an eye on their employees which would have signed an agreement to know this is the case. Also popular with parents to keep an eye on their kids. There are free online sites you can sign up to do this, without needing to install this on the persons device just send to a website and you're done.
FYI I have not purchased this, so am just basing my comments on IT industry knowledge. |

Ryan, is there anything illegal about this product?
Is the 'message' a real SMS message, or using a program like WhatsApp? |

No, I will not allow that. I already have a method for WhatsApp so want to check it's not something I am already aware of.
Also quite keen to know I won't be thrown in the slammer. |

D Whitton.
You said that twice now. The forum exists so people can ask questions. If the creator feels the answer will reveal too much they don't have to reply. Nobody needs you to rephrase anything. Its people like you who poison the forum with sarcasm and comments that add nothing to the discussion. |

Mr. Dural. Thanks for the lecture. I'll bow out then.
One parting thought, Ryan specifically asked people to email him with questions. He even posted his email address on this thread. If people post questions on this thread and wonder why they aren't being answered then that's why. |

Ryan has already answered on Facebook that this is not illegal.

Ryan, is this heavily based on an app?

Glad that was your parting thought ( although something tells me you'll be back) Surely, answering questions here is the most labour saving, since you only have to do it once, rather than emailing the same answer out to people over and over again. |

Ryan,
M*****M**** and the rest of the "conflicted" people posting will never buy your product (and probably are not able). Even if you never sold all of the 100 editions, you are ahead by not selling to them. They are likely post-purchase complainers anyway. Peter said it, that is good enough for me. I'm not a sheep, just an observer of consistently demonstrated excellence. It is entirely possible that M**** is not so M***** at all. Signed, Verified Purchaser |

So you got your confirmation but that is still not good enough? This place never ceases to amaze me.

There have been a lot of “Verified Purchasers” saying that their fingers are crossed that this effect will suit them. So, I really don’t understand people taking shots at others for simply asking questions; they just want to be sure.
You guys need to cool it. Back on topic…hopefully. |

Don't forget, in peter’s opening post he states this is “mechanical”. Peter did not say this was “software”. I know people are wanting to be more safe than sorry, but it seems that Peter Has already slightly pulled the curtain back. Admittedly I still don’t know what I’m looking at, but I think assuming it is software might be taking two steps backwards.
Also, Lloyd Barnes had some strong, positive praise for this effect. |

Question for Ryan :
In the performance vide Peter posted ( https://youtu.be/sX0KRSaUYOQ ). What actually happens at the end when he checks his phone again, that part of the performance confused me a bit. Thanks Sleepy |
