hoping to drive away from Berlin,
it was a bummer to wake up and find a flat tyre!

Ahh,...fixing a tyre is a three hours job,
for me.
,...and dirty hands.

After talking with Monika about it,
we decided to go 'play one',
while the weather's sweet,
..and my hands were still clean.

Sunday morning,.....Church.
I few years ago,
I wrote up, how,
in the deep of a heat;
we like to Busk churches.
It may sound a bit sacrilegious,...
it probably is.

Still, they can be really nice audiences(!).
And we found, talking with the parson,
before services,..
he usually gives us a good 'pre-view'.

Our plan, being 'last minute',
..we were a bit late,
by the time we found a church.
The mass had already began,
before we could speak with the man-in-charge.

We waited outside.

When the party inside was over,
the doors opened,..
our potential audience strolled
from one show to the next(!).

I thru Monika atop the piano,...
🎶 da-da da da-da da 🎶 !
We greeted everybody,
and went into the first number.

Unanimously,
everyone looked at us a bit strange,..
We pressed on.
They pressed on,...by.

They ALL,..!,
..kinda mosey-ed on by us,
...gathered in groups,.
at a good distance from us,...
and talked amongst themselves.

After three songs,
the church was empty.
..as was our basket.
...as was the space before us.

The plaza, in front of the church,
..behind us(!),
...was full of groups(!),
...having nice chats.

We resigned,..
tried packing and scatting,
as quick as possible!

Pious and bow-headed,
we rolled-by the groups.
After about four or five 'roll-bys',
we relized...
They were all speaking Polish!

It had been,
the monthly Polish mass!...!

No one understood a word.

öK.
Homeward bound.
I had better things to do,..
........a flat tyre awaited me.

In the parking lot, of the church, however,
we saw this sign(!).
It made the whole morning,...worthwhile.

It held air.
We rolled out.

There's a certain peace-of-mind,.....rolling.

...it's twice the pleasure.
