It is beyond frustrating when you have something stolen. But you are doubly concerned when it is your magic stuff. First of all, what will thieves actually do with it once they open your case and see stuff that they can't use or fence? Second of all, you kick yourself for not hiding your stuff in the trunk of the car or, better still, not keeping it in your car parked on the street overnight.
In this week's podcast, we talk with 14 magicians who have had their magic stuff stolen all the way from a case of stuff valued at a couple hundred dollars to a trailer full of illusions worth tens of thousands of dollars. All are cautionary tales of how we might better protect our magic stuff with recommendations on what these magicians would have done differently. You can see photos of our guests, get a link to a crowd funding project to help one magician raise funds to replace his stuff, listen to the podcast online and download the MP3 file at: https://www.themagicwordpodcast.com/scot......-seconds We solicited these stories from magicians who are on our Facebook page.
